The following steps will help you when adding images and information to your wiki page. Remember to save images you have taken to a folder first and use this where possible. It you have to use other images then go to one of the Creative Commons Licences - Images sites listed on the Digital Citizenship page.
To add images
Go to YOUR PAGE
Click on EDIT
Click on page section where you want to add images
Click on File tool in taskbar
When a new window opens Select '+Upload Files'
Navigate to folder/desktop where images are stored and select
Once it has uploaded click on the title to place it on your page
The image will now be shown on your page and you can edit it using toolbar below the image
SAVE the page when finished
To add information
Go to YOUR PAGE
Click on EDIT
Click on page section where you want to add the information
Type your information (or copy/paste from a word document)
Adjust the 'information' font style, size, colour, alignment, etc. using the 'T' tool in the taskbar
Add a BIBLIOGRAPHY at the end of your information section (include books, websites, images)
SAVE the page when finished
The 'Widget' tool allows you to embed other web2.0 tools such as the Mybannermaker and Animoto - follow instructions on these pages.
